College revenues include grant funds awarded by federal, state and local agencies. Grants may be competitive or categorical in nature. The College has a Grants Office that handles the grant application process in partnership with the sponsoring division. Accounting of grants is subject to the rules and regulations of the respective agencies funding the grants. Terms and conditions are spelled out in award agreements or grant contracts. Grant contracts require the approval of the Chancellor or his/her designee. Certain grants require official certification from District Fiscal Services for periodic reports. If periodic reports or invoices do not require certification from District Fiscal Services, such reports or invoices should be submitted to the College Fiscal Director for review and/or approval.
